About this recipe:
A useful vegan white sauce that can be poured over steamed broccoli and cauliflower or served with any savoury dish.
Equipment:
saucepan and mixing bowl
Ingredients:
425ml stock
3 tbsp FREEE Organic Chickpea Flour
2 tbsp olive oil
salt and pepper
Method:
- Put the stock into a saucepan over a medium heat and bring almost to the boil.
- Measure the flour and oil into a mixing bowl and stir to make a smooth, thin paste.
- Pour the hot stock onto the paste stirring all the time.
- Tip everything back into the saucepan and continue stirring as the sauce thickens and bring to the boil.
- Remove the pan from the heat and season with salt and pepper to taste.

A great base recipe for my own tweeks with some mustard.blue cheese, n Italian parsley well chopped. I used miso paste for the stock base, reducing the salt.if you have home made stock better still.Having it with some panfrye gurnad
