Gluten Free Fruit and Fibre Energy Balls

About this recipe:
Super easy to rustle up, you might want to grab one of these yummy, fruit and fibre energy balls for breakfast on the go or pack a few for your next hike or bike ride. They are delicious made with peanut, almond or cashew nut butter.
Equipment:
saucepan
Ingredients:
150g dates, de-stoned
150g nut butter, smooth
50g FREEE Organic Fruit and Fibre Flakes
Method:
- Finely dice the dates into a saucepan.
- Add the nut butter and mash the two together with a fork.
- Put the pan over a gentle heat and stir until everything softens.
- Remove from the heat, add the cereal and stir to combine.
- Immediately spoon the mix into 10 or 12 piles onto a plate.
- Using your hands roll each pile into a ball.
- Chill for about 15 minutes for the energy balls to firm up.
- Store the energy balls in an airtight tin for up to a week.
