Gluten Free Oat Porridge

About this recipe:
Hot porridge is one of the most satisfying and versatile breakfasts. It can be made with water, milk or fruit juice and willingly embraces a range of additions such as syrup, chopped fruit, honey and cream, or even a fried egg. For a very soft porridge, mix up your oats the night before and cook gently the next morning.
Equipment:
saucepan or Cat E 800w microwave
Ingredients:
40g FREEE Organic Porridge Oats
250ml water or milk
Method:
Porridge – cooked on the hob
- Measure the oats and water or milk, into a saucepan.
- Cook over a medium heat for 4-6 minutes, stirring regularly.
- Add more water (or milk) if the porridge seems too thick.
- Pour into a bowl to serve.
Porridge – cooked in the microwave
- Put the oats and water (or milk) into a microwaveable bowl.
- Cook on full power for 2 minutes.
- Stir and cook for a further 1 minute if using water or 2 minutes if using milk.
- Allow to stand for 1 minute before eating.
