Gluten Free Oat Apple Crumble

About this recipe:
Made with eating apples for natural sweetness this vegan, sugar free crumble has a crunchy granola style topping and is also naturally gluten free. We made one large crumble but you could make several smaller ones and freeze any you don’t eat to enjoy another day.
Equipment:
1lt/2pt oven dish and mixing bowl
Ingredients:
150g FREEE Organic Porridge Oats
50g flaked almonds
50g pumpkin seeds
4 tbsp maple syrup
4 tbsp oil
1 tsp vanilla extract
6 eating apples
150ml water
Method:
180°C, Fan 160°C, 350°F, Gas 4
- Pre-heat the oven.
- Put the oats, flaked almonds and pumpkin seeds into a mixing bowl.
- Add the maple syrup, oil and vanilla extract and mix together thoroughly.
- Peel, core and roughly chop the apples into a 1lt/2pt oven dish.
- Pour the water over the apples.
- Tip the prepared oat mixture over the apples, spreading it out to the edges.
- Bake for 55-60 minutes, less if making smaller crumbles.
