

Gluten Free Seeded Brown Bread Machine Loaf
About this recipe:
Packed with seeds this tasty, machine baked loaf is made either with egg whites or using chickpea flour for the vegan option. You could swap linseed or sesame seeds for any of those suggested in this recipe.
Equipment:
mixing bowl and bread machine
Ingredients:

Medium Loaf (2.4lt pan*) |
Large Loaf (3lt pan*) |
egg whites (or FREEE Chickpea Flour & Water) |
2 (20g + 40ml) |
3 (30g + 60ml) |
sugar | 1 tbsp | 1Β½ tbsp |
salt | 1 tsp | 1Β½ tsp |
sunflower oil | 4 tbsp | 6 tbsp |
walnut oil | 2 tbsp | 3 tbsp |
vinegar | 1 tsp | 1Β½ tsp |
tepid water | 530ml | 730ml |
FREEE Brown Bread Flour | 500g | 750g |
pumpkin seeds | 2 tbsp | 3 tbsp |
sunflower seeds | 2 tbsp | 3 tbsp |
poppy seeds | 2 tbsp | 3 tbsp |
quick yeast | 2 tsp | 3 tsp |
* fill your pan with water to determine your bread tin capacity.
Method:
- Put the egg whites (or chickpea flour + water), sugar, salt, oils, vinegar and water into a bowl and whisk together until smooth and lump free.
- Pour this into the machine pan.
- Add the flour, pumpkin, sunflower and poppy seeds.
- Sprinkle the yeast on top.
- Check the pan is locked into position and close the lid.
- Select the gluten free program if available, alternatively use a basic rapid setting.
- Select the dark crust option if available.
- Start the machine.
- Carefully remove the bread pan from the machine as soon as it has finished baking.
- Tip the bread out of the pan and remove the mixer paddle from the bottom of the loaf.
- Cool the bread on a wire rack.
- For best results wait until the bread is cold before slicing.

Made this bread last weekend 30th July 23 came out with a hole where the paddle had been going round and it was so hard I could of made a wall with it :-( will try by mixing all the Ingredients first then put it in the bread machine
