

Gluten Free Chocolate Cornflake Cakes
About this recipe:
A popular tea time favourite, these little crispy cornflake cakes are quick and easy to prepare and don’t require baking. Children of all ages enjoy making and eating these, especially if you use good quality cooking chocolate. At Easter time, you could also make Vegan Easter Nests.
Equipment:
12-hole muffin tray, 12 fairy cake cases and mixing bowl
Ingredients:
50g butter
50g milk chocolate
2 tbsp golden syrup
75g FREEE Organic Corn Flakes
Method:
- Stand 12 fairy cake cases in the holes of a muffin tray.
- Gently melt together the butter and chocolate until just runny.
- Stir in the golden syrup.
- Add the corn flakes and stir until they are evenly covered in the chocolate.
- Working quickly, divide the mixture between the prepared cake cases.
- Divide any syrup left in the bowl between the cakes.
- Leave to set.
- When set, store in an airtight tin.
