Gluten Free Porridge Oat Teething Biscuits

About this recipe:
Easy for little hands to hold these sugar free teething biscuits could be the answer for older babies with sore gums. Made with organic porridge oats and sweetened with fresh fruit the biscuits are simple to make. Never leave a baby alone with teething biscuits and avoid small pieces that could cause choking.
Equipment:
baking tray, mixing bowl and blender
Ingredients:
200g FREEE Organic Porridge Oats
75g apples, peeled and cored
100g bananas
2 tbsp coconut oil
oil, for tray
Method:
180°C, Fan 160°C, 350°F, Gas 4
- Pre-heat the oven.
- Rub a little oil around the inside of a baking tray or insert a baking liner.
- Put the oats into a blender and pulse until smooth.
- Chop the apple into small pieces and slice the bananas.
- Add the fruit and the coconut oil to the blender and pulse into a puré
- Cover and chill the purée for 30-60 minutes until firm.
- Divide the mixture into 30 small balls.
- Squeeze and roll each ball into a tight 6cm/2½” lozenge biscuit.
- Transfer the biscuits to the prepared baking tray.
- Bake for 25 minutes.
- Carefully turn the biscuits over and cook for another 25 minutes.
- Leave to cool.
- Store in an airtight tin when cold.
