Making and colouring your own playdough is an easy, inexpensive and fun activity. Store your playdough in an airtight container for many future play sessions.

Note: Our recipe is for play purposes only, not for consumption.

Equipment:

Ingredients:

100g FREEE Rice Flour
50g FREEE Organic Cornflour
75g salt
2 tbsp Vitamin C
300ml water
1 tbsp oil
½ tsp food colouring

Method:

  1. Measure the flour, cornflour, salt and vitamin C into a saucepan and stir to combine.
  2. Add the water, oil and colouring and stir to make a smooth runny paste.
  3. Put the pan over a medium heat and continue to stir as the mixture heats to a thick paste.
  4. Lower the heat and continue stirring until a ball of playdough is formed.
  5. Turn out the playdough onto a plate to cool.
  6. When cold store in an airtight container until required for play.
